Altered photo of the sunrise on the approach road to Uluru (Ayer's Rock) in the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, central Australia near Alice Springs, Northern Territory. This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Uluru is a very sacred monolith for many aboriginal Australian tribes. An example of my dominant theme of saturated-color impressionism in nature. Original photo taken in 2005. Work completed in January 2016.

I have no formal training in art. I have worked primarily in the educational field. I began to create art after traveling around the world. This opened my eyes to a greater aesthetic perception. Artists who only have lived in the USA are limiting themselves to possibilities of objective content.
