A mixed media work incorporating an acrylic painting, texturing and text on the Lord of the Rings theme.
The theme is the evil One Ring of Power from the film and novel, The Lord of the Rings, which forms the centerpiece of J.R.R. Tolkein's prodigious literature depicting an entire mythological world. The Ring here is superimposed upon the orange symbol for the Two Towers.
Work completed in May 2015.
This would make a cool phone case: the "ring".
